Way too sweet! Kind of over all the maple barrel ages beers from founders. The sweetness just overpowers everything. It reminds me pretty much of a sweeter version of French Toast Bastard. I’ll stick to Backwoods for my fall beer.

Had this last weekend and forgot to check in. Too much maple syrup. I barely picked up any spices that people are claiming. Some spice would balance it much better. Hides the abv well. Is interesting at least.
