Tastes like Founders CBS, although they stopped brewing it. Good as ever.

1000e bier, dat vraagt om iets bijzonders. Deze CBS stond al jaren in de kast dus dit was een mooi moment voor dit bier! Je proeft de koffie, chocolade en bourbon maar alles is perfect in balans! Heerlijk spul!

Sept 2019 bottled. Very coffee-ish, with some milk chocolate coating. Don’t get much maple syrup. Pretty well balanced.

My taste has changed an the standards for barrel aged has gone up, cbs is not what it used to be , needs more mouthfeel, depth and less barrel

A fav. Dark, mocha color. Coffee/chocolate smell. Aged in bourbon barrel, hint of maple syrup, maybe. Crushable at 11%+

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! This one's been aging for 4 years. To be honest, it's losing the maple flavour.

Final bottle out of the 3 I bought in December 2020. It aged well, I should say! Merry Christmas!
