Forgot to check this in from a few weeks back. This beer is ridiculously more expensive than any beer should ever cost. And as such, not sure how many times I'll ever have it again. That said, the hype is real and it is very, very good.

I understand the hype. Coffee, cocoa, coffee and bourbon. It’s all there, very balanced. Not too thick but just right. Nice amount of heat from the ABV, makes the barrel age stand out 👌🏻

Nice way to end a long day. Very dark and thick, but sweet too. Easy to get in trouble with this one.

2017 release. Surprised this is holding up way better than expected. A bit sweet on the start due the the maple barrel but nice chocolate finish.

I don’t know if it was because it was so could out last night but this seemed thin lacked flavor.

Friend brought this to our quarterly museum member's meeting. Aged in bourbon barrels that held maple syrup at onetime. You get the maple flavor but I wouldn't say it was sweet.

Enjoyed this beer while cutting this beautiful load of beech wood with occasional snow showers while cutting, classic Michigan Fall!

Bit of a sharp alcohol upfront, but mellows as you drink. Not as thick and Rick as other imperial stouts.
