Green Zebra

Sour - Fruited Gose

Subtly sour and a little sweet, this ale is a refreshing take on a nearly extinct German style, gose. Watermelon is the highlight of this lightly-hopped treat and gives it a hint of satisfying juiciness. The soft mouthfeel and dry finish comes courtesy of the addition of sea salt, a traditional gose ingredient.

Iโ€™m not sure how Founders accomplished this, but this light-bodied beer has a crisp, clean and refreshing watermelon flavor. Itโ€™s a bit tart, a bit sweet, and totally crushable. Good stuff!

My first ever beer by founders was the breakfast stout when I was 16 and I stole it from alexโ€™s beer fridge. It was disgusting. This on the other hand, is delicious. Definitely more sweet than sour tho

Really thought I wouldnโ€™t like this one. But not too much salt and not too much watermelon.

They say watermelon, which is present but subtle. I'm getting more of a lime hit, which could be the tart and salt combo. Also has that well rounded sourness you get in kettle aged sours.
