Versus: Eastside

IPA - New England

Versus is a two-part series where we explore the differences between two IPA yeasts while keeping the process and all other ingredients the same. For Eastside, we used WLP066 London Fog yeast. Westward uses US-05 American Ale yeast. Both have a luxurious double dry-hop of Wakatu, Amarillo and El Dorado. In Eastside, we experience tropical notes of lychee and papaya on a soft body with a gently bitter finish. Compare the two beers and have opinions.
