Starting out another pumpkin season on a good foot. Dogfish head leading off with a smooth pumpkin ale that is more brown ale then spice but still hitting the mark. Cheers! To another fall season of pumpkin ales.

Not usually a fan of pumpkin ales but the Dogfish Head bitterness really balances the sweetness of the punkin.

Pretty dang good for a pumpkin beer. Especially considering it's been in the back of the fridge for years. Strong cinnamon and nutmeg up front. Nutty malt with some caramel and hints of chocolate. Finishes with a strong bitterness and some burn.

This is not a brown ale. Slight pumpkin pie spice. Drinkable for 7% though.
