Not as sweet & punkin' pie-y as I expected, which for me is good. I haven't tried too many brews of this style, so I can't compare, but it's got a kind of vegetable & hops nose & palate. This encourages me to try more of this style.

If Dogfish Head managed to make this beer with either less ABV or somehow find a way to control the burn at the back end, this would be a perfect pumpkin beer.

Good pumpkin flavor. A bit strong for my liking. Sits pretty heavy

Higher gravity pumpkin beer. Tastes good but for the price paid there are better options.

A little too bitter for my liking in a pumpkin ale, but not bad!!

Literally one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve had in a long time. You can taste the pumpkin and spices but it’s not too overwhelming

Kind of bitter hoppiness takes away from true pumpkin flavor

I wasn’t sure about it since it’s a brown ale but it’s really good! The pumpkin and cinnamon notes are a little subtle but overall it’s pretty flavorful and very smooth!
