SeaQuench Ale

Sour - Fruited Gose

SeaQuench Ale is a session sour mash-up of a crisp Kolsch, a salty Gose, and a tart Berliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt to make this the most thirst-quenching beer Dogfish Head has ever brewed.

Sea Quench Ale is a complex Session IPA delivering a lime-sour, slightly salty taste with very slight bitterness. If imagination kicks in, this IPA might be related to a margarita. Sea Quench is definitely worth a taste if sours are enjoyed!

On the nose the beer has a mild salinity and a forward citrus note. In the body this ale is quite limey but not quite sour; has a nice salt level through out. The finish is tart and crisp leaving you feeling refreshed and eager for another sip.

Smells like pears and, well limes. The limes are everywhere, the salt upgrades the experience, which was an awesome experience.
