SeaQuench Ale

Sour - Fruited Gose

SeaQuench Ale is a session sour mash-up of a crisp Kolsch, a salty Gose, and a tart Berliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt to make this the most thirst-quenching beer Dogfish Head has ever brewed.

Very tart and limey. Somewhat salty. I get some subtle kolsch characteristics, but it's supporting. Also a bit of a Brettanomyces fruity quality without the funk. Overall good but more tart than I would want and pithy on the finish

Really good citrus & salt sour. Especially good for it being in a can.

Got it for a Mexican byob meal. It's not quite a Mas Agave, but it's quite nice and not too strong. Very pleasant.

One of the first sour beers I was introduced to. Tastes like if Miler Lite turned into a sour (in the very best way).
