SeaQuench Ale

Sour - Fruited Gose

SeaQuench Ale is a session sour mash-up of a crisp Kolsch, a salty Gose, and a tart Berliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt to make this the most thirst-quenching beer Dogfish Head has ever brewed.

When you break a server at 2 am, beer is required. Thanks Amy for the beer and Badge. #stupidITGuy

Super refreshing sour. Not overly acidic. Strikes the perfect balance of sour and refreshing. One of my favorites for summer. Some lime certainly comes through but again, well balanced in there. Overall, a must try and a must buy.

Kolshe, Gose, Berliner-Weisse brewed separately then combined. Sea salt, lime juice and peel, black lime. The machine that crushes the lime is named “Busta Limes”. That’s real. Pretty salty but it’s good. The sour is bracing but the fifth sip evolves.
