You should check out the viscosity of this beer!

(2024 Re-Review) Cloudy viscous amber color with a resinous shield. Noses caramel, malt, brown sugar. Pine resin, figs, raisins. Tastes herbal, medicinal, with thick hop bitterness. Warming booze. Smooth malt sugars. Bittersweet booze finish. IPA perfect.

What can I say? It’s bold in flavor, bold in ABV. It’s a Dogfish Head classic.

Been a loooong time. Really liking this fresh. Hops stand out and has the expected sweetness. Thanks a lot Sean A.!

2 years aged - the best amount, leaves some hop bite behind and makes that sweet malt feel so tasty, while mellowing out the beer to a very palatable level . Huge caramel and lemon flavors, once aged truly an elite ipa

Extremely sweet and boozy. Pretty hoppy. Very good. I realize I should have aged this, but aging IPAs goes against every fiber of my being.

This one has been aging 15 months. So smooth and hoppy. A little boozy, but no more than expected. Soooo good!

Aged at least four years, really mellows it out and made very enjoyable!

Note sure how old this is, but it’s old. It got better, IMO. Actually tastes malty. Lots of sediment but easy to avoid.
