Third time drinking this. First time rating on untappd. Why must we take a good think and crank it to the max. Keep it simple

Don't get me wrong...it's good...but man that's about as dank as I can go before it tastes like syrup. Also it's 16.9% ...not 18.

Had no idea what I was getting in to. More like enjoying a fine wine or a scotch than sucking back an IPA. Appreciate the craft, but not something I’ll turn to often.

Beautiful amber color. Very much on the sweet and malty side. Quite strong. Would make a good winter ale

Boozy, but not as bad as I remember. Candied apricot, caramel malt. Herbal bitterness.

I was hoping for something of a hop bomb, and instead it’s a syrupy sweet caramel. Real boozy, for what it is it’s very enjoyable. Not the iconic IPA I was looking forward to though

I like the flavors, but it's a little syrupy and pretty boozy for my taste. Next time we'll age it!

Well prolly should have aged it. It's pretty sweet and syrupy... the flavors are good but not my favorite..prolly much better aged...patience grasshopper.

From what I was able to find online, it looks like dogfish switched to Julian day with a single digit year for their date code for some reason. So this is day 095 of 2022 bottled date.
