120 Minute IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

The Holy Grail for hopheads! Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copius amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy.

VERY interesting beer. Strong as hell but surprisingly sweet and adequately balanced.

Annual check in of 120 minute on 120th day of the year! Think its starting to lose its flavor

This one hits hard, obviously. More of a 1 and done beer

I really wanted to like this after trying hard to find it. It’s too strong for my taste at 18% ABV. Definitely a sipper.

Zzzing! 5 years old, wish I had a fresh one to compare. Not an IPA at this point, more caramel malt, deep copper in color, almost no head. Should have held off and had this one in winter by the fire.

Impressive flavor for the ABV, but just takes it a bit too far for me.

High abv, it just wasn’t my favorite in terms of flavor. Still recommend however.

Thin head. Clear and yellow. Strong malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet, worty, and thick. A tribute to excess. One and done.

Ikonisk öl. Flaska från 2016. Hade gärna gett den högre betyg av nostalgiska skäl men den är lite för spritig och spretig för de högre betygen.

Unfortunately I only had a small glass. First pour was clear but when I added the rest, there was some sediment I wasn’t expecting which clouded up the beer. The flavor remained with some added hop notes. Very sweet. Very boozy.
