Bottled 8/23/19. Hoppy bitterness perfectly melded with a malty...well, it’s trite, but backbone. This is a sipper, for when you can’t a decide if you want a beer or a whiskey. The booze is there but no burn. Reminds me of a port!

Bottle from September 2018. Definitely drinking more like a Barleywine... deliciously.

Not bad. A relief to have a strong malt and hop experience in tandem. The high ABV detracts from the flavor. Also, you’d get whacked if you drank two of these. Recommend trying it tho. An interesting and heady experience.

Although categorized as a x2 (x3?) IPA, this is way more in the vein of Belgian-style ales. It runs sweet and a little boozy. There are hops there to temper the sweetness just a tad. This was the 17.1% variety.
