120 Minute IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

The Holy Grail for hopheads! Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copius amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy.

Nose is muted but big taste on the palate. Mild hop, big malt/barrel.

That’s a bit too much for this guy. Citrusy and strong like a moose kick to the head.

This is a heavy duty brew that I’ve always been a fan of. This one was bottled in August of last year so it mellowed out nice.

Just happened to find a 4-pack that needed a good home. Might be time to do a vertical tasting with my 2011.

It’s a rare treat to find it. When I do I try to make it last. It’s not an every day beer for sure but for a casual sipping beer it’s pretty amazing.

Simply too boozy to be enjoyable, and hoppy af. Exzibit heard you liked hops so he took some hops and put some hops in it.

It's not like an IPA. It smells like barley and maple sugar. The first alcohol is not very comfortable to pour into the nasal cavity, but the alcohol performance is not so radical after that, for an 18 degree wine, alcohol is hidden. Sweet entrance, make

I decided I needed at least one beer to be a 5. This is it. The older I get the better it gets. The holy grail for hop heads. Love this one so much.

This version seems more like a barleywine than IPA. Still very good.
