Pennsylvania Tuxedo

Pale Ale - American

A spruce-infused pale ale, Pennsylvania Tuxedo pays homage to the flannel-suited hunters and gatherers who dwell deep in the backcountry of north-central PA. This sessionable concoction has a grassy citrus kick complemented by the resinous conifer notes of fresh green spruce tips. A dry yet doughy malt backbone lets the hops and spruce shine while still balancing out the bitterness, making this one an easy drinking ale rich with the aroma of Paul Bunyan's cologne.

Sad the new recipe is less spruce, but still good. And a random summer find

Full-bodied and warm, soft palette, sweet, smooth as shit and very satisfying.

Is there a name for middle-of-the-night-to-keep-snake-warm-but-also-protecc-from-dogs-and-own-dumbassery-for-opening beer that doesn’t involve the word “alcoholic”? Going to try “working vacation.” 🍻🌲😁🐍🐕 #ItsMorningInAmerica #LastCanStanding

2nd of pack is better.”garage” cold temp helps.not as purely sprucey as before- used to be drinking a pine tree(but not gin)and simple but deep at same time.mid body that wants to push to full.aftertaste is less pleasing/more bitter/shorter than rememeber

McCrory’s 100th Anniversary (1982) Coke glasses holding what has become my favorite seasonal beer. When it was super fresh the spruce was too little. It has peaked and is now drinking EXCEPTIONAL.
