Like someone melted a shard of the dark crystal and poured it in my mouth.

Damn, this one is huge. Strong and rich. A hair sweet, but not at all overpowering. I expect nothing less from DFH.

Wish I knew (DFH would print on bottle) the year. Had it at least 4 years. Drank very well. No party no barrel just money stout.

Lush syrupy mouthfeel. Obviously boozy yet smooth. Very strong liquor flavour. Notes of raison. Chocolate. Excellent!

2016 aged oh so very nicely. Very little alcohol heat left. Beautiful toasty flavor with hints of licorice. Just amazing when aged. HBD to me. Thanks Pete!

2019. Holy num nums. Reminds me of the scene in The Crow: “Is that gasoline I smell?”...“Shit on me!!!”

Now that’s a tasty stout.. not for the faint of heart. Very dark, but surprisingly complex and drinkable

So rich and boozy. Nice molasses seems like? I could get used to this!

Working through some of the older inventory. The 18% is definitely coming through.😃

2019 bottle. Still super boozy. Needs another couple years to mellow out.

Aged for about a year and a half, smooth taste and high percentage is welcome.

Perfect dessert with this one going through macchiato beans. Smelled just like coffee

Dark. Bourbon. Dark. Bourbon. Sweet roasted malt goodness.

Had this a few years back but this particular bottle has the date smudged off. Anyway it's amazing and that's all she wrote!

Considering the ABV, it is surprising smooth and boozy but not hot

For 18% this was stupid smooth. Bottle was 7 years old. Ages to perfection.

Opaque black color, minimal tan head, no lacing, coffee, dark fruit, and roasted malt aroma and taste, chocolate and molasses notes, boozy finish.
