18%!?! This knocks you on your ass if you’re not careful.

Opaque black color, minimal tan head, no lacing, coffee, dark fruit, and roasted malt aroma and taste, chocolate and molasses notes, boozy finish.

For 18% this was stupid smooth. Bottle was 7 years old. Ages to perfection.

18%. $12 for a 12oz bottle. Worth every cent.

Little bit too warm outside to be drinking stout

Only so so. I blame the bottle. I try to avoid this bottle shape. Still it really should have aged better.

Considering the ABV, it is surprising smooth and boozy but not hot

Pitch black with a thin head. Nice body. Slightly sweet plum/raisin scent. No bitterness. Notes of dark chocolate. Prominent alcohol burn really detracts from the experience.

Had this a few years back but this particular bottle has the date smudged off. Anyway it's amazing and that's all she wrote!

Definitely need to drink slowly, pretty boozy even after a few months. Strong but still a good amount of dark/roast taste
