Overwhelmingly mediocre. A fine stout but nothing to make it any more exceptional than anything else on the market.

4.23 is a stretch - dogfish head bias? Sweet as all get out. Coffee is bitter. Bad combo in this situation. Aftertaste is stringent. It’s a no from me dog.

Not a huge stout fan. This one is pretty sweet in flavor. Has some bitterness, but it’s not overpowering. Happy I tried this, but probably wouldn’t drink this one again.

Tasted like a basic stout but not as good as the Original Gaelic. It tasted a little more bitter? Darker?

Very very strong. Deepy rich and an absolute ton of coffee flavor. A bit too close to having coffee with liquor in it. A fun try

Sweeter and roastier. Like a coffee liqueur. Too strong and boozy for me. Finishes more quickly. But also older- 2019. Goes well with mint dark chocolate

It was about what I expected for an 18% stout, very boozy.

This beer is a bit pointless, after about 8-10% alcohol there is no more taste gained making it 18%

Since I was just up at mad River and its stout season this is perfect. Judging by the dust that was on this bottles its old. Now to the beer. Not a fan. Oddly boozy too sweet and the taste is bitter. Maybe I am spoiled lately, but no. Drain pour.

Tried this over the weekend and it might be the worst beer I have tried. To strong for me but maybe if your in to this style.
