If stouts are your thing this is the holy Grail. It's good, I'm just not a dark beer guy, one of the better ones though.

I liked it better last time but it’s just too big and boozy in this afternoon’s bottle. A bit of cherry cough syrup, lots of booziness up front and very warm as it goes down.

I had this a long time ago and I never forgot it, might have barrel aged because I did not feel the same this time. Boozy, dark chocolate, coffee bitter.

Not a huge fan of stouts or dark beers but this was crisp for a stout and creamy with little tongue smacking goodness. After taste of wheat/yeast very light.
