5 years did this good! Pure hop candy that warms the soul. Basically a barley wine at this point 😋

Not nearly as boozy as I expected. I may pop that bottle in the fridge after all

16.5% and Aged for five years, really smooth. Barleywine-ish and still a bit hoppy. Sweet and malty.

It has aged surprisingly well. Smoothed it out and retained more hop character than expected. Moderate alcohol warmth. Pleasant. At this point it’s a slightly hoppy barleywine but in good with that.

This one turned out perfect. Excellent clarity and a nice red hue. Great flavor too.

Took the "ages well" literally. Aged for 5 years almost to the bottled date (1 week over). Still smells great. Almost like a scotch ale. Medium mouthfeel, muted/old bitterness, a bit of smoke (very light), sweetness in the finish.

This is still holding up well. Light. Brown sugar and a hint of spice.

NICE! BIG, understatedly floral, & sublimely age-mellowed hops lead & carry throughout, w/ caramel, old honey, orange marmalade, fig, golden raisin, & a touch of Sherry mid-palate, & balanced brown sugar, resin, & roast @fin.

Catch up - round 5 - always amazing and a great addition to spicy meat pasta and garlic bread. Never could or has disappointed. Thought of my guys Ken E. Cody S. Ryan S. Erik R.

Good stuff! Been sitting on this one awhile and it didn’t disappoint. Gonna let the last one age a few more years.

Since it’s the 120th day of the year, a 120 Minute IPA is appropriate.

Too hoppy for Christine, but way more subtle than would be expected based on how it's made.

Not cellar'd, was wondering if it was a pour out, to my amazement it was mellow with the usual Boozy heat, 3/07/ 2018 bottle date.

5 year old bottle. 3/7/18. Held up great, bite is gone, booze is soft but highly effective, nice!

Absolutely... incredibly... smooooooooth. I thought I had the wrong beer at first. Doesn't taste 16% at all

I was expecting something crazy with this one for it to be 16.5%..surprised to find to super smooth and not alcoholic tasting at all!

HOLY F@ck!!!! This is incredible after 5 years!!!

Still think I’m too far down the aging curve. At this point it’s a very low carb barleywine with an intense leathery malt aroma and flavor. It’s v good but I think I’m losing complexity at this point
