I bought a case of this Brew in 2018 and split it with a friend. It aged well.

4 years is a great spot. Love the barleywine-like flavors it's gotten to. Deep maltiness and richness. Somewhat syrupy sweet but not overpowering. Lots of honey. Very delicious. Long malty rich finish. Thanks Sam!

Even better 3 1/2 years on the shelf. Wow. Harshness gone and smooth (old photo, new taste)

Bottle aged from 2018. Hops faded and very sweet and malt-forward. Still boozy and refined.

Bottled 09/28/18…missed the 3 and 1/2 year anniversary but got around to it tonight. Delicious!

Raisin, dates, Sherry, oak, way better than fresh, oxidation, booze but not hot, warming, even booze on nose still, fruity, resin

Not bad after four years. A change in color, but still packs a punch.

Great stuff! Balanced caramel & floral, aged hops lead & carry throughout, w/ generous resin, aged honey, golden raisin, & fig mid-taste, & an absolute tidal wave of orange marmalade closing. 4/9/18 bottle drinkin' DAMN fine @4 years! 4.4.

The first of four 120 minute tastings. 2018 was a solid start. The oldest of the brews, this one came in with a malty sweetness and finished with a boozy aftertaste. Big notes of caramel and ripe plum.

After buying this yrs addition I drank my oldest, this 2018. Taste has suffered, think hoppy isopropyl. Def tastes boozy. Don't recommend keeping them 4 yrs.

Smells like a sour. Tastes a little like malty, marmalade cardboard. Maybe didn't hit the aging on this one. 4/19/18

Sweet spot for 120’s has to be in the 2-3 year range. This is a bit too boozy and malty. Bottled 2/22/18

Boozy goodness — still my number one DFH. I don’t truly have a dog in this fight, but there’s something about the Warriors I just don’t like. Hopefully we get a game 7 at least. Cheers!
