Very unique and complex brew. Definitely worth giving a try. I've never had an imperial cream ale before. It's sweet, malty, and spicy. Definitely getting the ginger, anise, and vanilla flavors.

Interesting brew. A solid desert beer. Almost has a bit of a bubblegum note to it. An interesting mix.

Creamy and spicy, yet seemingly light! Would love to have again.

Really didn’t taste like a cream ale to me, yet oddly reminiscent of the Indeed Pistachio. A bit too forward on the spices for me.

It's more subtle that expected, which is good. Definitely a sipper though.

I'd call it a subtle winter warmer. Balanced spice build that starts with the turmeric and cinnamon and finishes with the anise.

Jessica L. I actually quite like this. It's got a good pumpkin flavor, I don't get the same off flavors you both got.

Pretty boozy for a cream ale, a bit more than I think is necessary.

Very good! Not your every day beer, but makes a really great snack!!

Pretty good effort but falls a bit short. This has an awesome spice profile, reminiscent of the spices added to Pumpking but not as dark and deep. Crisp, bright, and somehow also buttery like a pie crust. I wish this had just a little more to it, though.

Paler than I expected with a very fine lacy head. Nose is wild, spices and vanilla, barely smells like beer.

Unique cream ale with oat and tea flavors. High alcohol but so well balanced it’s hard to see.

Ya know my beer has turmeric in it. It’s a bold move dogfish. Big guy on the block still not afraid to get a little weird now and again. I don’t really like it, but damn do I respect it.

Interesting concoction....good fusion of spices with the vanilla toasty essence to it

This is an excellent beer. Dogfish Head's best. It's loaded with spices, but they don't distract from the fact that you're drinking beer. I will get more tomorrow. TJ says that it's bitter, but good. It's not bitter, but it is good.
