I like my cream ales. Soft on the finish. The cream is subtle, but this makes the beer very drinkable....

Very unique (or off centered). Doesn't not remind me of a cream ale (much). Spices come thru a lot. So, I'll call it a spice beer. Very enjoyable. Thank you my friend s at DFH!

Reminds me of when they did more "ancient ales" like sahtea and theobroma. Really delicious.

What an ingredient list! All I can say is that this is like a cross between root beer and cream soda, but with real adjuncts, not fake flavorings. Only a hint of sweetness. My wife says it smells like a WhoreHound drop from PA that her grandma used to eat

Swing and a miss! I read another review, and it was 100%, which was "if a pumpkin beer, had no pumpkin."

There are so many flavors going on in here. Maybe too many. The ginger dominates for me but in a flat ginger ale way. I do get someone the lactose as well

That’s a festive beer if I’ve ever tasted one. Wait till the temperature drops a bit before enjoying. It’s definitely gingery.

I really wanted to like this more. I appreciate the unique complexity, but I find the star anise overpowers it the more I drink it.

Pairs well with most meals, but that spiced flavoring at the tail end of the drink is a bit much. Flavor is very nice but not a preference for a large amount of drinks.

Better than expected. Dry and sweet. If you like stale boozoka bubble gum this will be your jam. Definitely try it, but don’t hate me for it!
