Very interesting. The tea and the spices kinda remind me of one of those ancient recipe brews they made forever ago but can't remember which one

Malt bomb of a cream ale. Glad I had it, but I would like to see DFH bring back some of their more interesting older beers.

Sweet on the first taste, then it became bitter for me with ginger, star anise and cinnamon flavors. It’s ok, but nt the great

Back of fridge find. A year old but still complex. A little sweeter and less spicy than I remember but that’s probably due to aging and maturity. Still delicious.

Nice cream ale brewed with a handful of spices and other stuff. Cinnamon came through well and complimented the cardamom. Well blended.

Tastes like a homemade health shot of turmeric, ginger, etc. Not my favorite.

I found a couple of bottles of this from last year that I forgot about in my basement stash. I can't remember well enough to say if the extra age has changed the flavor, but it's smooth and warm with ginger and anise as the most prominent flavors.

Creamy, spicy & smooth. What else do you need. This a a must try for the fall/ winter. Glad I found it again.

Pretty tasty flavor, nice little spice to a creamy ale. Aged a year, from ‘20

A nice festive-kind of cream ale. A little spice and a nice compliment of vanilla

Cloudy and honey-colored. Weird smell—cardamom and turmeric, then anise sneaks in. Flavor kind of the same, along with sweetness of vanilla, slightest hint of lemon. This is an odd one. Can’t say it’s bad, can’t say it’s really good
