Delicious! Smooth, nicely spiced, earthy notes, slightly sweet, very light bodied for something on the boozier side.

Very drinkable. Kinda tastes like pumpkin. The more I drink it, the more it tastes like pumpkin. And I love pumpkin

Aged just over a year and much, much better for it. Ginger, tumeric, cinnamon much more prominent. Creamy and sweet finishing crisp.

Reminds me of when they did more "ancient ales" like sahtea and theobroma. Really delicious.

Great cream ale with a lot of flavour and spice. Works well with the season because of the spices, and is a great alternative for those who don't like pumpkin but still like spice. Complex diversity of spice flavours combine really well together

This is an excellent beer. Dogfish Head's best. It's loaded with spices, but they don't distract from the fact that you're drinking beer. I will get more tomorrow. TJ says that it's bitter, but good. It's not bitter, but it is good.

Great creaminess with ginger, star anise and cinnamon. Great combination makes this imperial so good!! From Joe's House in Millwood.
