Sweet vanilla in the background, spices at the front, super interesting

This one just doesn't do it for me. The spices are there, but it's lacking something.

You know it's a cream ale, but it has much more going on in it. All of the spices meld together well and just the bit of vanilla at the end makes this a fantastic beer.

Dogfish helping take away the stigma of cream ale that Genny made us hate

Creamy with a subtle hint of spice. Reminiscent of a "Golden Milk" served at Indian restaurants. Easy to drink and unique in flavor. I like this one!

Got the snifter. Cardamom ginger aroma. Picking up some anise. This is going to be a nice take on a cream ale. Kinda interested of why Dogfish Head did a Cream Ale.

Finally, a new beer from Dogfish Head that isn't unnecessarily hoppy. This is an amazing beer.

Light and spicy. Definite ginger. Tastes a lot like the “ancient ale” series they used to do.

Heavier than a standard cream ale with a little more kick. The ginger is cumulative though so I wouldn’t be able to have a second

Really enjoyable and unique beer. I havent really had many cream ales but this one is pretty tasty and 8% too. Smell is somewhat off putting but the taste is like a cream soda that's not so sweet

Dogfish is 2/2 on imperial creams. Very much in the chai lane. A serious slapper would recommend.

Wow. Quite possibly the best cream ale imagined. The spices remind me of mulled wine.
