Rides the line almost perfectly between tropical hops and overpowering. Nevertheless, juicy IPAs are not my thing anymore. This is one is still good, though.

Pretty fair dipa, drinks like a lower ABV IPA. Interesting concept making a Kölsch into an IPA.

This one’s interesting. Smells fruity, and starts off tasting like a DIPA with a clean (the Kolsch influence). But then, once you think the flavor has finished, it hits you again with more IPA. I like it

Hoppy bitterness with notes of tropical. While it has the solid body of an imperial it retains a lightness that keeps it from overwhelming. The slight oiliness is pleasant and enhances the hops.

Pretty malty for a DIPA! Brings back memories of when I thought the 90 minute IPA was the quintessential beer!

Kolsch like on the nose with a creamier mouth feel for an IPA. The back end brings on the hops with some citrus, peach and mango..oh, and some gooseberries.

A DDH double IPA; bottled 1/3/2020. Clear, good aroma. I like the German flair to it...
