Tasty. To me, not at all like an ipa. More like a quad or something. To be honest, I prefer this over most of the barrel aged stouts. Overall, very good. The only thing that would make it better is enjoying it on the DE coast.

Delicious “Event Beer!” Love the barrel aged Utopias taste. Treat yourself -so worth it. Force yourself to sip, while you savor and enjoy. Don’t expect a thick straight bourbon barrel aged mouthfeel type of brew; it is an IPA that anyone could enjoy!

12oz bottle. Repeat. Mellow mixed barrel and surprisingly muted hop character in this bottle (though it is almost 15 months old now). It’s smooth but not aging as well as expected. One or two more left.

This is the 2022 iteration and is beginning to mellow a bit, but is still intense. Crisp and malty sweet, but beginning to deepen. For me, this is still a blessing from Gambrinus.
