Botania

Farmhouse Ale - Other

Botania is an exploration of the goodness growing all around us . We brewed a farmhouse ale with pilsener malt, spelt, oats & rye and fermented with a Norwegian kviek yeast. It was aged in Dogfish Head Distilling Co. Melodious Gin barrels for 10 months then blended with an infusion of over 30 spices, fresh herbs and botanicals to create this complex, almost cocktail-like libation.

Full bodied ale, abundant spices but too tart for me.

Cheers Kathleen M. for grabbing some new meads and brewskis and first meals of game day! What a giver. 🍻

Aromatic and complex but smooth & easy to drink as well. Surprisingly nice, unlike this morning’s match! 🍻🍻 At least I got this fun Lacca & Heccy pic ❤️❤️

Not fair to rate it because I hate gin! It’s a disgusting old timey drink!

Wow, one of the most aromatic beers ever, gin is predominate, true to its description "almost cocktail like".

Smoooooth gin with a nice potpourri of botanicals. Creamy oats and rye with a lemon sorbet vibe balance out the herbs.
