Mango Smoovie

Sour - Fruited

Inspired by the fruit-based Indian drink lassi, Mango Smoovie is a tart ale brewed with boatloads of mango and tangerine, lactose, vanilla, a touch rose water and yellow cardamom. The result is a fruit-forward libation with sweet mango and vanilla flavor on the front and a subtle, warm spice finish.

An orange, hazy, thick, spicy, mix. Everything the shelf had to offer! I liked the mango and the citrus, mouth feel was spot-on, tart rather than sour. The spiciness and vanilla only appeared after the fruit taste had faded. For that reason, sip slowly 🙂

Nope, sorry, I do get the mango, tangerine, hint of vanilla, and not “in ur face, toe-curling sourness”, give me a butt kickin DIPA or a bb aged stout any day! Nuff said! Happy Friday! Cheers Friends! 🍻

Smells great, tastes even better. Notable vanilla/creamy flavor with mango sweetness, but not overdone. Can appreciate the pumpkin, too. At most values, no doubt about it.

It's fine, but not particularly enjoyable. Doesn't have that mango pop you'd expect.

Not a fan of tart beers, but this was a very pleasing fusion that was sweeter and flavorful. Not really an ale? But very enjoyable!
