Strong. Sweet and malty. Not my typical style but I drink on occasion and enjoy the punch to the face.

RIP Carl, who was Oscar's brother. He was a good dog. Not many dogs get to see their siblings throughout their entire life. Oscar and I were lucky that we got to spend so much time with my sister's family and Carl. I loved you. And we will miss you Carl.

You can taste the thing morphing into a maltywine, it's so damn strong, bottled 07/30/20, prost to baseball coming back soon, go Sox, go Brewers, eff the Cubbies

My strong opinion that 120mins are best within a year still holds true...but this one held up ok.

Next up is 2020 and honestly it seems that Dogfish had a lot of carryover from 2019 in terms of how the beer was brewed. This one tasted similar and was a very smooth and enjoyable beer. Big notes of plums again along with some sweet toffee as well.

As fancy as it is delicious. Apparently this was a delayed delivery of some sort.

Delicious and potent as ever. Excited to see how this one mellows with time. Still pretty hot at only 2 years old

Ages well? I think not. Not in a bad way.....Malty, sweet, and boozy. But I can't imagine giving this a 4.7 about 4 months after bottling. Maybe better warm(er)?

(bottled 15 September 2020). Quite boozy, low carbonation. Sweet, malty and still hoppy.

Aggressive alcohol on the nose, but amazingly smooth and surprisingly drinkable. No doubt it’s a sipper. Sweet malt combined with a stunning amount of hop presence. Any hop heads rite of passage.

I use to buy this every year. Just one, to keep me right. Whatever the beer trend is, 120 comes in to say f*ck you. I got away from that, but I’m glad I got an old one. The OG go f*ck yourself beer as good as ever.

15.3% IPA My good friend Hermann L. chided me about my check in for “Party Guy” only being 3%, not much of a party there! I hope this renowned brew will uplift my credibility just a little. We all know this ale, boozy with a thick mouthfeel lots of hops

2 years old this month. Orange peel, grass, and malt aroma. Soft w/ a dry finish. Notes of sweet/tangy citrus hops, raisin, prune, cognac, orange peel. Smooth. A nice, slow sipper. Noticeable sediment in this bottle.
