this is not that great, previous years were way better

Stars lose so I’m drinking extra heavy lol. This year’s DFH 120 is a unique variant that hits with a boozy, barrel aged sweetness and a very mild hop on the front but a strong piney bitterness on the back end.

National Drink Beer Day! Curious to see how this ages

FRAFOGB. Wildly boozie for an ipa but I'd like to try it again on it's own

Was able to compare side-by-side with 2016 and liked this one better (not as boozy).

This is brightly hoppy, but the malty undertones are balancing the intensity. The fusel strength is a a promise of a future mellowness.

My friend shared it with me. Still great. $25 a bottle though is rough.

It’s a big one! We will see how it ages. Extremely rich and big big hops.
No checkin location

Dank, dense, oily hops on nose; slight boozy/alcohol burn on palette along w/ pine and spice in the background; semi sweet finish. I got 9 more bottles, so those will stay in the cellar for future aging checks.

My first time trying this and I'm very impressed but also feeling generous

Feel like this style has lost its charm. I used to love these, but hazy TIPA's have ruined me.

Orange/light-umber with the thinnest eggshell head. Medium-light body, & mouthcoating. Hop-profile way more mild than I expected. Nicely balanced w/ delicate notes of tangerine, agave nectar, grapefruit, and brandy. Warming alcohol, but not harsh.
