Truly a sour beer first and fruited second. The blueberry and blackberries are similarly flavored so not all that distinguishable. Even though this isn’t my favorite style, it’s well made. I’d rate it a 3.85.

I see nothing on the bottle that would indicate the barrel used for aging was previously used for any spirit, which is a shame. Something like a sherry barrel would probably be amazing.

Have been sitting on this for awhile. Definitely get the barrel taste. Glad to split with the fam!

Dry oaky tannins, sour berries, tartness lingers on the tongue

Sweetness on the nose but a sour raspberry pucker on the taste. Beautiful color.
