Bourbon,molasses & cherry nose. Smooth with cherries & a plum note. Woody oak tannins with boozy bourbon. Roasted barley with a vanilla & light molasses . Undertones of dark chocolate with a leather & sweet finish

Special beer with a load of flavors, none of them unpleasant. I am immediately thinking of how it will change with aging. This beer, at 17%, has no harsh solventy notes. Smooth and delicious.

Definitely to young needs to smooth out. Wonderful chocolate and roast malts with English type yeasts finish:)

Lots of barrel on this, boozy from the git, chocolate, toffee, dark fruits (prune and raisins). Not as full bodied as I’d like, but will get the job done!

Way better than I remember this being. Still extremely sweet with some soy sauce but the booze and roast calms it a touch. Smoother than it should be for the abv.

Hoping for a bit better given it’s probably the closest I’ll get to trying Utopias. Seem to be picking up predominantly cognac/port barrels. Would have to do a side by side, but think I prefer the regular or vanilla WWS

I was super disappointed in Utopias and I was hesitant about the price of this… turns out, F Utopias, just buy this. Way mucho better.

This version was way better than the previous one. Less syrupy, less acetaldehydic.

Body was thinner than you might expect for any kind of stout. The alcohol is warm and it helps account for the thinner body. This is a sipper and it does evolve as it warms. Worth experiencing and sharing with others.

Wow this one is boozie. Strong black stout with tons of barrel. I’m gonna sip this one. Happy stout day!

A bit of an alcohol burn on the tip of the tongue. Getting some dark fruit notes after letting it sit a bit. Pretty good.

Definitely has a Utopia profile to it (I’ve had one, nadhabigdeallllll), but not blowing anything out of the water.

Tastes like diet utopias. Not getting much of the we stout. Very drinkable.
