Boozy, boozy, boozy. Whiskey, thick, chocolate, black soy, long oak finish. Quite good. Jason says smells like rubbing alcohol.

Reminds me a little of another Dogfish beer I like - Raisen D'Etre. Packs a punch.

HEAVY. Strong chocolate notes, a hint of bitter dark chocolate with a thick malty following.

Some pretty hefty ABV on this one. Good flavor and not too much alcohol taste. Worth the buy!

Rich, strong, boozy and a little sweet with notes of raisin and other dark, dried fruits and vanilla

Huge, complex beer. I think it would improve with a few years in the cellar.

Smooth and balanced, impressive chocolate flavors coming through without much booziness, surprising at this ABV. But, I’m spoiled, there’s just not much body to it which keeps this from getting into that 4.5+ territory. Still, an exceptional BA shelfie.

Strong, but doesn't taste 17%+. Chocolate and booze are most prominent.
