Another winner from extreme. Nice syrup stout and somehow, it masks most of the booze. This was great!

So good. Smooth and the high alcohol content is well hidden. Thank you Ken J.!

Dogfish head makes some of the best 16% + abv beers. Totally get the complexity of the utopia flavors highlighted by caramel and vanilla sweetness. Thanks Chris for sharing!

So easy to drink and smooth. One would expect more pain from a 17% beer

Ah, devil ether. It makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue. The mind recoils in horror, unable to communicate with the spinal column.

Oh yeah! I have had an unhealthy love with WWS since 2005 when Dan Hewett introduced me to 1995 WWS. This is just awesome! Drinking one on a beautiful Wednesday evening is only for retired affluent folks…WTF I am doing. 😉 Love my life.

Incredible! Words can't express what this beer does for my mouth. Surprised how delicious this beer is for 17%! Smooth and so freakin good!

Chocolate. Barrel. Was expecting something more with a Utopias pedigree. Still nice all the same even if it fell slightly short to whatever I imagined.

This is thinner then I expected(medium). Get all kinds of notes. Rich, thick chocolate, roasty coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, plump raisins, plums, blueberry/blackberry, bourbon, rum, vanilla and some wood. Thank you, FlandersNed.

Chocolate, raspberry, ale, strong, boozy, smooth, full-bodied, chunky. Holy hell I've never had anything like that

This beer is amazingly complex. You get the raisin flavor that I find dominate in the usual World Wide Stout. I haven't had Utopias yet, but get a sense of it's flavor from this beer. I can see why it was one of the top rated barrel-aged beers of 2021.
