It tastes like a barley wine and stout joined in union and birthed a hell beast made of barley roasted by the crimson coals of Hephaestus. Eh, it wasn’t bad.

Very well made beer. Dark chocolate notes on the palate with a complex maltiness that brings a bit of caramel, smooth vanilla with a barrel aged oakey/wood like finish.

Tasty full flavoured stout, quite thin but tasty nonetheless. Barrel coming through nicely. For that price I was expecting a banger, still happy to have tried it.

I mean I’ve had a utopia it was pretty delicious as is this beer. Rich malty and complex needed after drone “pilots” try and fly you into a thunderstorm 🇺🇸🚁

Cellared this for a year. Barrel is still prominent. Not noticing a lot of difference. This one will stand up well on the shelf for quite a while.

Oily black in color No head no lacing A mixture of roasted malt, cognac, vanilla, cocoa, raisins, prunes, black cherries, and anise. Light syrupy mouthfeel with alcohol heat finish This is bonkers complex but balanced, boozy, and excellent.
