Happy T-day! 🦃 I passed on the pie and had dessert beer instead. 😜 17.3%, chocolatey, rich, with nice barrel character. If you try it, definitely let it warm up a bit so all the flavors come out. Looking forward to aging the other bottles in the cellar.

Def doesn’t taste like the abv posted, but I like’em boozy. Not thin, but could use a lil more body. Smooth one for sure. #instabuzz 4.25-4.5

Heavy roast malt, medium alcohol, Brandy and Rum, oak tannins, prunes and figs, dark cherries, vinous character, toffee malt and a sweet finish.

Tastes like a good whiskey. Very strong but tasted good.

Dogfish increased the distribution this year and I was lucky to find a few in Milwaukee. The beer is aged in the revered Utopias barrels from Sam Adams which impart heavy notes of cognac. The complex stout somehow becomes more complex.

Boozy tasty and you get that bourbon flavor and notes.. coffee/chocolate as well

Wow. Surprised at how drinkable this is. Not hot or syrupy. Also love how it's the only beer that doesn't need description.

Sharp and boozy. Tastes like a strong ale with brown sugar & caramel. Body is on the thinner side for a stout. Very rich port like flavor though
