Had to try this fresh once it went on sale while my other one ages! Very heavy but sadly it's not my favorite Utopias-related beer

Special shout to to Jay T. For this rare one right here. Off the bat I’m getting a bourbon barrel type aroma! But this stout has hints of cherries, chocolate, oak, and bourbon. Strong and tasteful but of course, the booziness is excellently hidden 💯

Dark, rich, roasty and 17.3 abv this has everything I look for in a stout ! Oh it's also 20 bucks a bottle -cheers!

Not a lot of business drinking even a couple sips of a 17.2% at this point but it was great! Obviously awesome bourbon flavors.

The Utopias barrels definitely added a new layer of depth and complexity to this already deep beer. Kudos!!!

Yum, has a lot of flavor. I get vanilla, date, some chocolate and a lingering barrel flavor. It is pretty sweet with a bit of bitterness on the aftertaste. It does burn going down and had C02 added, but probably too strong for the yeast to survive.

Aged six months, definitely a bit more complex than drinking it fresh. Really enjoyable and can't wait to try the last bottle we have after aging it a year!

Smells thick, rich, almost cherry, chocolate-y, coffee-y. Tastes thick, very strong, rich, chocolate-y, lots of cherry, STOUT-Y. Very strong in alcohol. Tastes like a mocha mixed with a stout mixed with some red wine. Unique. Will fuck you up.
