Nose like a barley wine. Sweet malty. Chewy. Wine strong. Boozy

Hop bitterness is present but dulled. Juicy raspberries are mildy tart and a little bitter. What a treat.

Really enjoyed this. Surprised at how well the raspberry flavor held up!

Getting caught up on our 20 Beers for 20 years celebration! This tiny bottle was nicely tucked away among some other gems. Remembering our walks on Rehoboth beach and our dinners at Henlopen City Oyster House.

A gift from my brother-in-law Dustin Y. - the last time I had this I was impressed by its complexity but rocked by its boozy back end. The aging of this beer is a total game changer. Thank you Dustin!

Holy wow! The booze on the back end is unbelievable.

Aged like a fine wine…also it’s practically wine. Mmm

Boozier than I remember with an insanely fruity after taste. Maybe one of the few I liked fresher vs aged for the DFH Big Beers. Or might just be the 2015 year

A taster is all you need, quite the dessert beer

Gnaaarly acetone and ethanol. Enjoyed this on tap back in 2015 but it has rotted in the bottle.

Not a fan of the aging, too sweet and mellow

Wakes you up and says hello. No first date. No please or thank you. Yea. I asked for more. (Hops, strong flavor, damn tasty)

Very different. Almost like a port or wine. Lots of complex flavors

Absolutely outstanding. Need more 15% + ABV beers out there

Got this at Dogfish Head in Rehoboth. Tastes like medicine. 18%. Kind of reminds me of a Mad Elf with less cherry taste.

It’s like framboise and 120 had a baby. This baby jumped into farmers hop field and passed out drinking rum. Boozy. But expected.
