Another prestige check-in thanks to Mr Gayle. Also celebrating having Matt in the same district again. It’s like coming home! 😃

For 18% from 2015, this is pretty incredible… raspberry flavors are evident and welcomed

In my opinion this one didn't agree well. Weird cough syrup after taste. A bit oxidized.

Figured it was time to try my first Fort. 2015, aged over 6 years! Time did this one just right...

Cloudy dark head, explosive yet elegant raspberry fruitcake, dried apricot, orange candy nose, rich palate, fine lift, well balanced of malt ale and raspberry elements, long honeyed raspberry malty finish, aging really helps to bring everything together!

Part of the “Hurricane Damage Special” with Untappd & Half Time Beverages, a 6+ year old bottle of Dogfish Fort! Had this beer B4, so familiar. Shocked that Raspberry still comes thru. A little boozy. Quite a bit of sediment, which I left in the bottle.

Another blast from the past, sharing a 6 yr old brew with my brother Raf 🍻🤙🏼

This has to be a world record for sediment in a beer, and it's suspended throughout like that old energy drink that had the little pieces floating through it, Orbitz I think it was called? Wait, the ABV is *what*?

Almost no head, murky orange amber, raspberry jam, fruitcake, honey nose, rich rock candy, dried apricot, malty fruit palate, mouth coating, long honeyed finish, drinking like a fine dessert wine, though not as strong raspberry and complex as last bottle.

For a strong ale this is very drinkable. Like a framboise with half the sweetness. Lots of raspberry. Not overly boozy. Just right. 😉

Very nice raspberry undertone. Very strong

2015. They say “ages with the best of ‘em.” This one did. Nice strong ale with lots of raspberry flavor left.

Has held up tremendously for a ‘15. Almost a bourbony boozy start but the semi tart raspberry & fruity flavors come out to finish.
