Essence of Kire
Lager - Japanese Rice
Japanese brewers strive to produce beers with kire (pronounced KEY-day) meaning “sharpness” or “crispness.” Designed to enjoy with foods without overpowering them, these beers are renowned for their bright, spicy flavor, light body and quick dry finish. We formulated our version with flaked rice & wildflower honey for a crisp body, lemongrass for a citrusy snap and hopped it with classic Saaz and a new hop on the block, Contessa, for notes of spice, green tea and lime. After a month of cold lagering, we filtered it crystal bright for a clean finish.
