It just went from an OK day to a great day. Deep roasted malty flavors with lots of coffee, chocolate, caramel notes smoothed out with a creamy feel.

17% monster coffee stout. They hid the heat way too well. Got a bottle as well for trade.

The adjuncts have substantially tempered the booze in this.

Big green pepper nose. Really solid roast up front but coffee note goes to green pepper in sip. Not much maple flavor but has some mild cinnamon towards the end. Hides the massive abv well. Wanted to like this more. Coffee turning to pepper was an issue.

Disclaimer: this sat in a crowler for 2.5 months. Boozy, not sure if the slightly oxidized flavor is the age or the beer. Not intense coffee, probably fine. Good but not great. Need to try fresh, and aged. (CC : Dom R. Sorry/thanks)

Alcohol is extremely well hidden. This is straight up dangerous.
