Tastes a bit watery to be honest. And it’s got lots of fruit particles/sediment in the beer.

Ok, but more typical of red ale than amber or red IPA. Tastes like it has cherry.

Weird fruity flavors. I think this is my first beer brewed with sumac... the predominant flavor tastes like an un-ripened cherry. Not hoppy nor bitter enough to be on the IPA side, and not malty like every other red ale I have had. But I like it, it's....

It's a hybrid of their two styles but it doesn't really turn out great in my opinion

Unremarkable and slightly sour. It is 7.1%, so that's positive.

Red ale with a slight sour twist. A touch of hops. Not quite for me, but appreciate the take on a red ale

The Sumac and grapefruit on the back end is a little too overpowering for my taste, solid red ale base tho

Smells reminiscent of a duchesse, then falls well shy (also thin). A pretty standard light-style amber, none of the depth of flavor or sweetness. Meh.

The flavor matches the description. We generally don’t like beers aged in oak casks and this one is a bit too sweet for our liking. The flavors are pronounced but reminds of a bad fruit with a fake toffee/caramel icing.
