Fort

Strong Ale - American

A strong ale brewed with a ridiculous amount of pureed raspberries (over a ton of em!). Fort is an excellent candidate for cellaring and is a great food beer — especially with chocolate or duck.

Subtle raspberry and a hint of the 18% abv, nicely done! Happy Father’s Day! Cheers 🍻

Aged 6 years. Aged a bit too long. The beer started to turn, but had a nice raspberry aroma and flavor to it yet.

12oz botte, faded date. Reddish Flanders style colour. Strong strawberry confit aroma and lightly liquorice. Boozy and fruity taste and dark chocolate.

Like a very dry wine. Little bit of tartness from the fruit flavor then the bitterness of the alcohol

Almost like a strong raspberry wine… 18% is a bit absurd

From 2015 I think? A little past due I’d say. Still not as bad as I thought it would be. Terrifying amount of sediment. Pairs well with Purple Rain 🤴🏿
