Lambic - Kriek

Kriek Boon Mariage Parfait consists of 1 year-old heavy lambic flavoured with overripe cherries, 400 grams per litre. Longer aging in small oak barrels gives it its special flavour. The lambic is bottled and stored in an air-conditioned room for six months of secondary fermentation. Kriek Mariage Parfait has an alcohol volume of 8%. It keeps for a minimum 20 years, and is ready to drink after about 2 years in the bottle. This is perfection in kriek beers. Try it and admit that it surpasses the best wine. The casks give this beer its fine oaky flavour with hints of vanilla and cloves. It boasts a wide mouth with a warm body and roundness reminiscent of dried cherries and wild tastes. This is soft mildness personified.

2018 vintage, sad to say I've opened 3 of these, all same bottling dates and they've been awful. MP Kriek was for me a reliable go to krieks for years, but these have all had a metallic, artificial taste, I hope this is a batch problem not a recipe change

На третий год ведения антапта, могу без влияний и осуждений, наконец-то сказать, что это говно собачье. Я не верю тем, кто ссытся с этого редкого пива. Вкус горький, запах краски. Ощущение ремонта на лестничной клетке

Kriek met 8 % in de fles. Donkerrode kleur met schuimkraag. Heel veel verwachting van helaas het is niet te zuipen. Rare smaak wijn achtig lijkt wel bedorven.
