Coming up 3rd on this evening’s list; perhaps the best Bastard of ‘em all! The “French Toast” aromas are intoxicating! Drinks extra smooth with rich maple, cinnamon, & nutmeg flavours that are complimented by sweet oaky vanilla bourbon undertones.

Backwoods Bastard (2022) Willis
This is the 2nd bastard on the list this evening & it kicks it up a notch or two! Maintains the malt complexity with some Scotch essence, but the Bourbon Barrel-Aging adds a sweet & warming character. Finishes with oaky vanilla undertones. It’s Crackin’!

This one has been hanging around for over a year ... looks like we are going “RETRO” tonight. This one has all kinds of malts and noticeable notes of honey throughout - but the mild hop bitterness works at balancing it out.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Willis
It’s hard to get better than this dark doomy KBS. Deep, dark, & delicious with smooth chocolate notes throughout. Well placed bourbon notes with subtle coffee. We still have KBS 2016, 2017, & 2018 in reserve. Could wait to level them all in one night.
