Prefer the original All Day IPA, seems like a watered down version with very modest grapefruit notes.

Surprisingly well done with hints of sweet citrus over tropical fruits and a fainter hops bitter. Goes well with tonight’s dinner of salmon, shrimp & asparagus.

Light bodied easy drinker that is sweet with big citrus aroma and flavor. Surprised to see the ABV is 8%, it is well disguised.

Nice blend of pine, citrus, malt & juniper! Second round of garden planning in progress.

First beer of the weekend! Rosa & I stopped here for dinner on the way home from work.

Lives up to its name! Maple is most prominent in the flavor profile - despite the ABV, this one’s not going to last long enough to warm up. Speaking of the ABV, it is well hidden. The Buffalo Trace is great, too - it’s a private barrel just for here.

Smooth and delicious with a grapefruit like citrus vibe going on. Goes very well with our St. Bernardus Quadruple beer cheese.

Hints of malt and grapefruit peel over a modest hops bitter. Almost 284,000 logins and I’ve never had this before?!?!?

Sweet pineapple over tangerines & lemons. Mild bitterness in the background. Good stuff in my glass.

The Perfect Pairing Pale Ale G
Didn’t try cheddar cheese, but it certainly pairs well with spicy meatballs. Thanks, Nancy!

Initial sweetness over modest roasted & coffee notes. Big vanilla ~ chocolate vibe rolls in. Velvet smooth and ABV is invisible

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter G
Lots of good things going on here - dates, fig, cherries, vanilla, caramel & booziness. Sweeter than expected, it’s not an issue. Well done & delicious. Today’s sports day starts in the UAE where it’s Shabab Al Ali Dubai 0 - 1 Al Ain SC - 36 minutes in

Just when you think you’re all out of a good thing isn’t it nice to find one more hiding in the depths of the beer fridge.

Stunned to find one of these still hiding in the depths of the beer fridge! No complaints, has held up nicely and goes well with tonight’s dinner.

More great beer and more great music from tonight’s headliner - The Iron Maidens

The Iron Maidens continue to rock the house…if they play in your area you need to see them

Smooth and chocolate over roasted coffee and modest boozy notes. Charred oak and boozy notes float around in the background. Good stuff in my glass.

Pushing my luck with the cinnamon today….velvet smooth with cocoa and vanilla jumping out right away. Cinnamon is in the background and well balanced - that will probably change as it warms. The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve isn’t too shabby either

Well done - malty with a complex flavor profile mixing it up underneath. Not sure what all is going on down there, but it is delicious

Big hit of brett funk& hay before the peaches & tartness kick in. Well done! This bottle says the ABV is 6.5%. Don’t see a date anywhere, but this is release #008

70 minutes in and Celtic still up 3-1. Can’t hate on Liam Boyce, too many good memories from Cliftonville.

Light and smooth with a gentle touch of citrus. Another one that was served ice cold on a hot day

Big hits off the barrel right away, but not what I would call boozy. Smooth over a modest sour with grapefruit and faint tequila linger on the finish.

Slightly tart mango & vanilla. Lactose is balanced and well checked. Delicious. Sporting my new Bangin Beers Podcast pint glasses from Teespring!

Malty & hoppy with boozy undertones. Hints of dried stone fruits and a modest pine linger on the finish

Tap at Humboldt Mystery Bag #1, beer #2 - another revisit from one of my all time favorites! This is from the 2017 release & was bottled on 14 July 2017. Sweet, malty, vanilla, boozy, bourbon amazingness in my glass. Goes down way too easy for 14.2% ABV.

Nice surprise hiding in the back of fridge! This one was bottled on 21 October 2019. Heavy, boozy, dark stone fruits, caramel - chocolate deliciousness in my glass! Will have to grab another drink later for New Brew Thursday.

Sharp tartness on the nose. Huge oak notes everywhere. ABV is completely hidden. I like it.

Glad to find another pumpkin beer that isn’t a spice bomb. Nicely done with pumpkin as the primary flavor with undertones of cinnamon and other holiday spices
