KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Sawyer
OK. Was expecting a fantastic upgrade from the base KBS beer, it's not. Can taste the cinnamon and add'l chocolate taste, but it was OK. Somehow it seemed more boozy than the regular KBS, or at least this keg did.

As good as I remember. I'm not a big scotch fan per se, so I look for Scotch Ales that have something extra. This one has vanilla, cinnamon, maple, all kinds of nice tastes that go well together.

Why? Just why? KBS is such a great beer. Why mix it with schitt that obviously doesn't mix with a coffe/chocolate/Stout. Just because you CAN make an adjunct version of a great beer, does mean you SHOULD. This is not good

Straightforward, easy drinking session IPA. Not too piney, dirt-ee or Pinesol-ee. Crisp aftertaste.

Great entry level / introductory beer into the world of Bourbon Barrel Beers. Not overly alcoholic, smooth, light chocolate notes, with the lactose making it more milk chocolate than dark. Good

Highball Drifter (2022) Sawyer
Excellent approximation if a beer-based old fashion drink.

Surprisingly better than I expected. Slight cloves and bubblegum from the Belgian, bit much on the bananas, but we'll balanced. Was expecting blah, but got 'hey this isn't bad at all".

Tastes like KBS with an injection of Hazelnut... So pretty much what it says it is. Duh...

Straight down the middle Oktoberfest. Malt? Yes! Slight sweet? Yes! Bready / grainy? Yes! Hits all the marks. Not my favorite, but a great example of a Marzen
